As he struggled to coordinate himself on his hooves, the changes finished. His body grew to the right size of a young stallion, his face finished reshaping and his mane grew to it’s full length. He couldn’t see it, but his hair yet retained the semi-permanent swoosh he’d made from gel over the year. However his eyes remained unchanged in there entirety, and he was still self aware, to the extent of remembering his name, his age and that he was a human, not a horse… Well more that he was a human, and felt trapped inside a horse’s body. As he glanced down to the apple that caused the heinous change, he saw his bite had grown, and the teeth marks were too large to be human.
Coming to terms with the fact that he was now a Horse, Chris realized his entire life was snatched away, and he was relegated to the form of a service animal. His family and friends, deserters though they are would never recognize him. His closest companions could be the horses, but they would be unfamiliar with him, and never be able to give the comfort human company could do it. Chris faced the farm, while keeping a flopping ear out for cars and people.
Chris began to fear the farmer on the side of the fence. If he were captured, the man could do anything to him and it would go unknown… he knew the man had a stallion already and Chris wouldn't be needed, he could be sent anywhere. As he heard a car pull into the parking lot, he made a mad dash for the woods, he’d have to hide there until when and if he ever changed back. If not Chris was going to live hidden till the day he died, in the body of a horse.

Now Chris is 100% horse. It's still him on the inside though he'd be hard pressed to do well on tests.
