Strange Stone 2

The stone dissolved in his hand, but that was the least of his surprises today, the changes continued. The green scales marched up his arms and legs, and began to appear on his sides, while lighter yellow scales also appear, on his stomach, and acrros his calves, and forearms. The webbing between his fingers became more pronounced, and new yellow ridges developed on his elbows.

His wonder at the changes was punctuated by his feet forcibly coming together, as if pushed by a strange force. The unseen force went a step further, as his elongating feet combined, to the point where the distinction between one and the other was lost.

As his feet drew together his, legs began to follow suit. Transfixed he marveled at the new sensations, but the heat of the beach, began to weigh on his mind, and his new scales...
