The rest of the potion drains into the cursed earth, while the scientist's experiment warps his body.
Bones crack, eyes redden and venom grows.

Now the scientist is a reviled creature, banished to the deep places of the world.
Damned and hideous, he descends into the tunnel, away from the harsh lights of the world above.
