The curse of the wereRhino

It was long after midnight and James wandered home from his friend’s house. He stayed out too late, and he didn’t want to go by the highway, the people drove there too fast, and last week lil bo’ jeezy shot three people in the intersection. Recalling the way to his house through a old and not well-kept park he began to let his mind wander… when he heard it.
Out of the dead of night, he heard a deep breathing, it was not human. It sounded like a great animal, in serious pain or frightened. He picked up the pace, out of fear and confusion, the sound getting louder regardless of any direction he faced. He heard a thundering thump, and then another and after several more, the time between the thumps quickened. They were foot steps, big heavy footsteps, getting louder.
James’ heat raced and he panicked. He went the wrong way ands finally the footsteps stopped. He stopped to catch his breath against a tree, a low branch sticking into his back. It was actually tearing into his shirt. Looking around worriedly, he tried putting it out of his mind, and attempting to work it out of his back by moving his shoulder in circles, but it didn’t move. He actually pushed it, and it felt cold and hard like… bone. He turned around quickly and an enormous White Rhinoceros was staring him down. The creature snorted and knocked him down, tearing his skin with its horn.
He yelled in pain and the creature bellowed in a deep masculine note, and rushed at him and disappeared. Unbeknownst to him it was absorbed into his body. Scared out of his mind and deeply wounded, James clung to tree expecting to die of blood loss. Then the clouds parted, and the full moon bathed the park in its pristine glow.
The light hit James and instantly sewed up his wound. He was scared, but as his athletic body was suddenly restored he stood up and prepared to quickly jog home. But as he started to run, he was quickly losing his momentum. He was slowing down! He a cross-country runner and a silver medalist at districts, was losing his breath already! He in morbid curiosity stared down at his body. His stomach was bulging. In a frightening way, it was expanding to that of an overweight person who had too much to drink. “No!” he yelled in anger, feeling over four years of intense training mysteriously going down to the toilet.
In frustration he ran his hands through his hair, but as he did so, he could feel something…wrong with his hands. Bring them to the fore, he saw them fatten and merge into three massive toes of a rhino like the one that had just vanished. He felt strange and painful sensations in his head, as his eyes were pushed to the sides, and his nose expanded forward into a snout. On the top of his snout a powerful horn grew, with a smaller one following it just like the ones of the rhino that gored him. James hollered, but his voice was contoured and a guttural came out instead, as his body continued to grow and increase in weight.
The size was beginning to take its toll on his clothing. His shoes exploded as his feet became three digited, just like his hands, and his heels reared up to ungulatigrade as his rapidly growing body forced him to all fours. His spine bent and his shoulders and hips shifted his arms and legs losing full range of mobility. Unable to speak or stand, the fully-grown rhino stared up at the moon. He let out a powerful bellow as rhino, and the only part of James the human that remained on the outside was the strange mane of unfitting orange hair on his head and tip of his tail. He had his mind but it couldn’t speak, he was forced to rely on the creatures instincts and survive the night.

I ACTUALLY FINISHED ONE BECAUSE THE EVIL PROJECT IS OVER.
Well mostly. I still have to present it. Thank God it’s not epic poetry or an analysis thereof so I’m content. I’m not doing another night picture for a long time. Anyway this is a goofy twist on an overly clichéd trigger, and I’m not claiming this to be original, because I know of one person who would pull up a random picture barely related form the depths of hell to prove me wrong. So to avoid a confrontation, here’s a were rhino tf. This is supposed to be lighthearted, if it bothers you, oh well.

Picture is © :iconageaus:

EDIT #1 I KNOW THE LIGHT SOURCE IS WRONG. SUSPEND YOUR DISBELIEF.

I lawled, oh yes.

I like your night scenes, though! The posing is great, as always, and this concept was so funny/fantasticz. The story was hilarious, I thought. Made my night!
