I had planned to do a gargoyle, but I had an epiphany and decided to try something a little different. I didn’t originally much care for insect or arachnid transformations, but I’ve gotten over that, and this may be a spoiler for a race on Helios. There are only 10 types of people in this world that understand binary.
The piece is so impressive in terms of composition and coloration, but you know how I am about bugs--spiders in particular. He looks so monstery and his design is so appealing, despite him being one of the things I fear. It's a fantastic Halloween-y piece!
