Personality: Happy and fun loving, he usually gives All things fish fear, cats and sharks, especially Mersharks, frighten him. He is a loyal friend to Ageaus and every now and then the two talk. He still talks like a surfer, and has that laidback attitude, even though he can’t surf anymore. To get his thrills, he likes to race dolphins and try jump further than them in leaping contests.


History: Charles was born human, and began life as an ordinary surfer living on the outer banks of North Carolina. Due to a supernatural energy drink causing a freak mutation, he was transformed into a humanized Swordfish. He some how wandered his way into a portal and wound up in Paroceanica. He eventually fell in love with a mermaid, but his transformation wore off and he turned back.

He spent a brief week as a human again before Maerin changed him back only to a slightly different swordfish which he has remained as since.

Relations: He is completely severed off from the people he knew as a human. His contacts now are, Epiaruna. Fehrin, Ageaus, Pontus, Alpheus, and Kejital he met once. He is in the middle of a relationship with a feral mermaid named Maerin.

Faults: He still misses being a human, and sometimes has nightmares about being shipped off to his old world and forced to face his old friends in his new body. His laid back nature may make him too trusting to people, which could put him at risk. But as the record shows, none have sold him out, but that doesn’t mean that future acquaintances won’t.

Power/ Forms: He only has his merfolk form, and he cannot split his legs like the others. He also has no magical abilities at all, and like all feral merfolk, he cannot read minds either. He can fold his fin back and go faster in the water.

Charles’s Sunglasses: After his last transformation, Charles has enough of a nose to wear elongated sunglasses when he basks, or just wants to look cool.

Michelangelo, the Ravioli Crab: This is Charles’s pet Ravioli crab, (A species indigenous to the bottom of the Paroceanican floor) his name is Michelangelo, and his diet largely consists of small fish but he loves the taste of jelly minions. Often he has tried to kill and eat Douglas. He makes very subtle squeaking noises and often sits on Charles’s shoulder, he can breathe both above and below the water.

He is still stylized after a swordfish, though his nose is considerably less than lethal now. I fixed my anatomical problem once again; concerning tail fins, there should be 8 for locomotion, (Upper & Lower dorsal, 2 pectoral ‘Arm fins’, 2 pelvic, and a terminal and a tail fin) and then the two earfins for hearing.
