----------------

Ah 2009, I never once in my whole life wanted a year to end as badly as this one. It started off in utter disappointment, especially with the events the previous fall, and then went up to a really long time where I can honestly say I was completely happy, and then crashed back down in November. I’ve heard the expression roll with the punches, and I think I’ve finally lived it out.

I almost never rant, I’ll try not to sound like a whiny twerp here. I’ll remember 2009 as the first Otakon I went to and the first summer during college. It’ll be the year I rediscovered Pokémon and tested out WoW (yeah as of Thursday) I went to Boston and Disney for the first time in my life, where I saw a titian painting life-size.

However, I’m gunna remember this year as the year where I was in three car accidents, none of which were my fault, legally or otherwise, and being involved in a fourth, although marginally (friend’s car got rear ended, I got struck in my car by an SUV, totaling it, and I was struck walking by a conversion van.) 2009 is the year my favorite band sold out, and the year I got put through the college runaround trying to move campuses and majors. I’m tired of psychotic teachers, vapid advisors, and lastly deviants whining about my not giving requests. There’s no contract on DA that says a person with an account is required to draw art for free.

I guess what bothers me most about this year is I felt like I wasn’t productive enough, or I never had enough time to do everything I wanted to as far as my work is considered. Aside from trips in July and august and my motor fiascoes this past November, school’s demanded more from than ever before, and I expect it only to get more strenuous, while I’ve made technical work, it’s not as much fun as making my characters or drawing transformations. I’m making a profound attempt to make more quality work this year and Dodge automobiles better.

Happy Holidays to all of you.

-The deal with FA-
On that note, I’m reducing my presence on FA, some internal things going on there I’m not fond of, and the fact that I don’t really need that website for anything I can’t get here. You may see more artwork end up there eventually, but do not take it personal if I delete a fave or one of my submissions. Any person who purchased a commission from me will be notified beforehand should I ever decide to pull it from FA.
